Tony Sorrentino, CFA

Vice President

Tony Sorrentino is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital Advisors. He is responsible for analyzing buyout and venture capital partnership investment opportunities, and is involved with the analysis and execution of secondary investments and direct co-investments. In addition, he participates in fundraising, investor relations and portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Tony was a Summer Analyst at GCM Grosvenor as a member of the Public Markets Risk Management Team where he was responsible for risk management due diligence, performance analytics, and quantitative analysis of hedge fund managers.

Education & Associations

Tony earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with High Honors where he received the Stanley C. Golder Scholar designation. He is also a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Chicago.

Interests

Outside of work Tony enjoys traveling, following Chicago sports, and snowboarding.
