Bei Saville, CFA, CAIA

Senior Vice President

Bei Saville is a Senior Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing investments for the group’s New Asia Growth strategy. She also participates in fundraising and portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Bei was the Director of Alternative Investments at the Helmsley Charitable Trust, one of the largest foundations in the U.S., where she sourced, evaluated and invested in private equity, hedge funds, long only funds, and co-investments globally, as well as managed the total portfolio. Prior to Helmsley, she managed alternative investment portfolios at Pfizer. Bei also designed and managed portfolios for institutional investors in Morgan Stanley’s Global Portfolio Solutions group. She has held positions at JP Morgan, David J. Greene, and China National Real Estate Development Group.

Education & Associations

Bei earned her B.S. in economics at Renmin University of China, studied European Economics, Politics and Culture at the University of the West of England in the UK, and earned her MBA in Finance from Old Dominion University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Bei is fluent in spoken and written Mandarin.

Bei serves on the Limited Partner Advisory Council for the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, Alternative Investments and the Princeton Roundtable Advisory Board. Bei is a Trustee of the Victoria Foundation and Knowles Foundation, where she also serves on their finance committees and Victoria Foundation’s Program Related Investment Committee.
