Maureen "Mo" Wilkie
Mo Wilkie is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing primary fund investments and direct co-investments in all areas, with a focus on buyouts. She also participates in fundraising, investor relations and portfolio management activities.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Mo worked as a MBA associate intern for HCP & Company, a growth private equity firm investing in the consumer and healthcare sectors. Prior to receiving her MBA, Mo founded and operated a branded consumer product company. She has experience working in operating roles at consumer companies ranging in size from seed stage start-ups to large public entities. Mo previously worked in the Investment Banking groups at Citigroup and Citadel Securities. While at Citi and Citadel, she worked on a variety of transactions within the metals and mining, financial institutions and consumer industries.
Education & Associations
Mo earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University. She earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she was the recipient of the Madison Dearborn Private Equity Award and the Herman Family Fellowship for female entrepreneurs.
