Ben Lloyd

Ben Lloyd is a Vice President and Research Analyst on 50 South Capital's Hedge Fund Investment Team. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring hedge fund investments.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Ben was a Principal in Exelon Corporation's Investment Office, where he helped manage and oversee investment portfolios supporting the company's retirement and benefit programs, including pension plans, 401(k) plans, retiree healthcare trusts, and charitable foundation assets. His responsibilities included manager due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and strategic asset allocation initiatives across public equity and fixed income portfolios. Previously, Ben served as a Senior Manager within Charles Schwab Asset Management's Investment Risk group. He began his investment career at Morningstar.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute.
