Eli W. Tullis III, CFA

Eli Tullis is a Senior Associate and Research Analyst for 50 South Capital’s Hedge Fund Investment Team. He focuses on sourcing and monitoring credit and event driven hedge fund investments.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Eli was a Senior Credit Portfolio Manager within Northern Trust’s Corporate Banking Group. In this role, he was responsible for underwriting a portfolio of large corporate and middle market loans representing over $1.5B in credit exposure across investment grade, non-investment grade, and unrated borrowers. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Eli gained experience at Tudor Investment Corporation, a global macro hedge fund, and Affinity Management, a golf course consulting firm.

Eli received a B.A. in economics from the University of Virginia. He continues to be involved with his alma mater as a board member of Shadwell Society. The Shadwell Society helps attract outstanding students to the University of Virginia by providing four year grants to Jefferson Scholar alternates. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute.
