Justin Redeker
Senior Legal Counsel
Justin Redeker is Senior Legal Counsel for 50 South Capital. He is responsible for overseeing the group’s legal functions.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Justin was a partner in the investment funds group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. While at Kirkland, Justin specialized in the formation, structuring, marketing and operation of private equity funds and their management companies, ranging from first-time sponsors to more established firms. Justin represented sponsors across a wide range of strategies and structures on a global basis, including buyout funds, energy funds, real estate funds, debt funds, co-investment vehicles and other private investment vehicles, while also advising clients on a variety of corporate and management company matters.
Education & Associations
Justin received a bachelor of journalism from the University of Missouri, graduating with honors, and a juris doctor from DePaul University College of Law, graduating summa cum laude. Justin is licensed in the State of Illinois and the State of Texas.
