Nina Nguyen
Assistant Controller
Nina is the Assistant Controller for 50 South Capital. She is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the group’s hedge funds and private equity funds. Nina focuses on overseeing the daily cash management and subscriptions processes, and reviewing financial workbooks and quarterly reports.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Nina was a manager in KPMG’s asset management practice for 5 years where she focused on tax compliance for hedge funds, fund-of-funds, credit funds and private equity funds.
Education & Associations
Nina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Masters of Accounting Science degree from Northern Illinois University. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois, a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
