Colleen Coen

Colleen Coen is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing primary fund investments and direct co-investments in all areas, with a focus on buyouts.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Colleen was an associate at Permira, a U.K.-headquartered, global investment firm with over €80bn of committed capital. Colleen was a member of Permira's healthcare private equity team and was active in all aspects of due diligence, underwriting, and portfolio company management for Permira's buyout funds, which invest in growth-focused companies across the technology, consumer, healthcare, and services sectors. Previously, Colleen was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she worked in the Leveraged Finance Group covering the industrials vertical.

Colleen received her M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she was selected as a Finance Fellow. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Finance.
