Juan Martinez-Torres

Juan is an Analyst on the Finance Team for 50 South Capital. His responsibilities include cash management, portfolio valuations, and accounting functions as well as review of financial statements and quarterly reports around the group’s private equity, secondaries, private credit and hedge funds.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Juan was a fund accounting officer with US Bank for two and a half years in their Global Fund Services alternatives investments department. While at US Bank he worked as the primary administrator, managing the accounting and reporting responsibilities for multiple investment funds, which included equity mutual funds, mortgage-based instruments, and private equity strategies.

Juan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois – Chicago.
