Kelsey McHugh
Senior Associate
Kelsey McHugh is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing secondary investments and direct co-investments with buyout and venture capital funds. Kelsey also participates in fundraising and portfolio management activities.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Kelsey was a Venture Analyst at PEAK6 Capital Management, a Chicago-based investment firm, where she was active in all aspects of sourcing, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on venture capital opportunities in FinTech, InsurTech, Ecommerce, and Sustainability. Before working as a Venture Analyst, Kelsey spent three years as a quantitative equity derivatives trader at PEAK6.

Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with High Honors.
