Mohamed Shamel
Analyst
Mohamed Shamel is an Analyst in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. He is responsible for sourcing and analyzing buyout and venture capital partnership investment opportunities and is involved with the analysis and execution of secondary investments and direct co-investments. In addition, he focuses on investor relations, fundraising, and portfolio management activities.
Prior to 50 South Capital, Mohamed was an Equity Research Associate at Calamos Investments, a Chicago-based asset management firm, where he was responsible for researching, analyzing, and providing investment recommendations on various companies and sectors.
