Murielle Dawdy, CFA

Director

Murielle Dawdy is a Director in the Private Equity Group at 50 South Capital. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing primary fund investments and direct co-investments in all areas, with a focus on buyouts. She also participates in fundraising and portfolio management activities.

Prior to 50 South Capital, Murielle was an investment banker at Moelis & Company in Los Angeles. Previously she was a member of the investment team for an impact-driven family office and was a Research Associate at Hall Capital Partners, a $40 billion RIA based in San Francisco, where she focused on cross asset investment research and operational due diligence. Murielle also worked at Constellation Brands, where she focused on acquisitions and integration, and at a small hedge fund in an operational role.

Education & Associations

Murielle received her B.A. in Economics and Chemistry from Wellesley College, where she played volleyball. She received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
