Robert P. Morgan is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director for 50 South Capital, with management responsibility for the alternative asset investments areas of 50 South Capital. He had previously been Director of Private Equity, a position he held since co-founding the Private Equity funds group, and an area in which he remains heavily involved.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he worked as a Director at Frye-Louis Capital Advisors, LLC (FLCA), a Chicago-based private equity investment manager, and was responsible for all of the operations of FLCA, including the management of a private equity fund-of-funds. Prior to joining FLCA, he worked for Heller Financial, Inc., a middle-market commercial finance company which was later acquired by General Electric. Mr. Morgan was a Senior Vice President at Heller and was responsible for its private equity programs. Within Heller, he held several roles, including positions in the Corporate Finance Group, Corporate Credit and Heller Equity Capital Corporation, Heller’s captive private equity fund. He has invested in over 100 private equity funds covering the buyout, venture capital, structured high yield, real estate and international markets. While at Heller, he also oversaw a direct equity co-investment program which totaled approximately 20 investments. Prior to attending business school, he worked for a commercial bank in North Carolina.

Mr. Morgan is a board member for the Illinois Venture Capital Association and several fund advisory boards. He received his B.A. in economics from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Emory University.

Bradley M. Dorchinecz is a Senior Vice President and the Director of the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital, a group he co-founded. Mr. Dorchinecz oversees all aspects of the investment process for primary, secondary and direct co-investments. This includes sourcing, and analyzing venture capital and buyout investment opportunities in the United States, Europe and Asia. He is responsible for fundraising, asset allocation and portfolio management activities for the Private Equity Group. He has made and overseen commitments to over 90 venture capital and buyout funds and 15 secondary investments. Mr. Dorchinecz also is a voting member of Northern Trust’s Investment Policy Committee. He was previously an investment professional at Mercantile Capital Partners, a venture capital and growth equity fund located in Northbrook, Illinois. Prior to Mercantile, he spent five years at Heller Financial, a middle-market commercial finance company which was later acquired by General Electric. At Heller, he was an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group and Heller Business Credit. He worked with Bob Morgan while at Heller.

Mr. Dorchinecz is a member of the Advisory Boards for Trinity Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, Aleph Ventures, Tower Arch Capital, Endless, and Sterling Partners. He speaks frequently at industry conferences, including Super Return, Venture Capital Journal's Venture Alpha, the British Venture Capital Association’s Venture Forum, the Association for Corporate Growth Conference, and the European Venture Capital Association Middle Market Buyout Forum.

Mr. Dorchinecz graduated with High Honors from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a degree in finance and received his MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Christopher S. McCrory is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. McCrory focuses on sourcing, valuing and executing primary investments and direct co-investments with buyout and venture capital funds, and participates in portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was an Associate at Pamlico Capital, a middle-market buyout fund based in Charlotte, NC. At Pamlico Capital, he was active in all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, capital raising, deal negotiation, and working with companies post-investment. Prior to Pamlico Capital, he spent two years as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group at McColl Partners (now know as Deloitte Corporate Finance). He worked on transactions in numerous industries but spent the majority of his time in healthcare and business services.

Mr. McCrory earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Nicholas W. Lawler is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. Lawler is responsible for sourcing and analyzing buyout and venture capital partnership investment opportunities, with an emphasis on secondary investments. He also participates in fundraising, investor relations and portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was a member Northern Trust's Rotational Development Program. He completed rotations in Equity Research, Private Wealth Management Strategy, Alternative Investments, and Quantitative Management. Before joining the Rotational Development Program, he was an Associate Portfolio Manager in the Wealth Management business unit, where he directly managed customized equity and fixed income portfolios and supported numerous Senior Portfolio Managers. He originally joined Northern Trust as an Investment Associate.

Mr. Lawler earned his B.A. in political science from Boston College and was a member of the Men's Varsity Golf Team, which competed in the Atlantic Coast Conference. He also serves as the Chair of Northern Trust’s Community Involvement Committee of the Advancing Professionals Resource Council (APRC), is a member of the APRC North America Executive Board, and is a Director for Outward Bound – Chicago.

James R. "Trey" Hart III is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. Hart is responsible for sourcing and analyzing venture capital and buyout partnership investment opportunities in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He also is responsible for fundraising activities and portfolio management.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was a Vice President at Greenspring Associates, a $2.3 billion global venture capital fund-of-funds based in Baltimore, Maryland. At Greenspring, he was active in all aspects of the investment process, including primary fund investments, secondary investments and direct co-investments. Additionally, he was active in the firm's global fundraising efforts. Prior to Greenspring Associates, he was as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the international law firm's private equity practice, where he worked with private equity firms in a fund-formation capacity. He is a member of the advisory board of SoftTech Ventures, TechStars Ventures, Costonoa Venture Capital and Artis Ventures and has spoken at numerous industry conferences.

Mr. Hart is a magna cum laude graduate of Washington and Lee University and a magna cum laude and Order of the Coif graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review. While in law school, he worked at New Enterprise Associates, the $13 billion global venture capital firm, in its Baltimore, Maryland offices. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois and currently serves as a member of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law's Alumni Board, where he teaches a seminar on venture capital and entrepreneurship.

Michael F. Marderosian is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. Marderosian is responsible for fundraising, investor relations and business development within the Group. He also sources and analyzes fund investment opportunities, primarily in the buyout space.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was a Senior Associate at RCP Advisors, a middle-market leveraged buyout fund-of-funds based in Chicago. At RCP Advisors, he was active in all aspects of building and managing its institutional and private client investor base including identifying new channels and geographies for fundraising, leading the firm’s RFP/RFI efforts and maintaining relationships with investment consultants. Most recently, Mr. Marderosian was in charge of leading the advisory practice, managing client relationships and helping shape and implement investment policy for clients. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Managing Director of private equity sales at First Allied Securities, Inc., where he was responsible for raising capital for late stage venture backed companies and building the investor base within a captive broker-dealer network.

Mr. Marderosian received a B.S. in computer information systems from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Robert D. DiCarlo is a Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for 50 South Capital. Mr. DiCarlo is responsible for implementing several infrastructure projects, and for positioning the group to achieve future growth in assets.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was with Aurora Investment Management, where he was responsible for all aspects of Aurora’s financial and performance reporting, and he also was involved in many of its systems and operational platforms. Prior to Aurora, he worked at Deutsche Asset Management for nine years, and he has over 20 years of experience in the financial management area.

Mr. DiCarlo is a Certified Public Accountant (registered in Illinois), graduated from DePaul with a B.S. in accounting, and received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Northwestern University.

Emily P. Fraser is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for Northern Trust’s London office. Ms. Fraser is responsible for sourcing and analyzing buyout and venture capital partnership investment opportunities, primarily in Europe but also in the United States and Asia. She also participates in fundraising activities and portfolio management activities.

Previously, she worked at Adveq Management, a Swiss based private equity funds of funds, as one of the first team members in its New York office. At Adveq, she was focused on small market buyout and distressed funds located in the U.S.

Ms. Fraser graduated with a B.A. in history from Trinity College, during which time she also interned at Landmark Partners, a private equity fund-of-funds specializing in transactions in the secondary market.

Kevin T. Butts is a Vice President in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. Butts is responsible for sourcing and analyzing venture capital and buyout partnership investment opportunities, with an emphasis on buyout and natural resource-related strategies. He also is responsible for fundraising, investor relations and portfolio management.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was a Senior Credit Portfolio Manager within Northern Trust’s Corporate Banking Group where was responsible for the underwriting and financial analysis responsibilities of a $1.2B loan portfolio comprised of 38 diversified energy and industrial clients. He started his career at Northern Trust as a summer intern prior to joining Northern Trust on a full-time basis as a Rotational Development Program member. He spent four month rotations in Credit Training, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Strategy.

Mr. Butts received a B.S. in finance with Honors from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Lisa J. Weitzman is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Group for 50 South Capital. Ms. Weitzman is responsible for sourcing and analyzing buyout and venture capital partnership investment opportunities. In addition, she participates in fundraising, investor relations and portfolio management activities.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, she was an Analyst at Hildebrandt Baker Robbins Consulting (now HBR Consulting) where she advised legal firms and financial institutions on cost reduction strategies and implementation. She also worked for a team of financial advisors at MorganStanley SmithBarney, helping to develop marketing materials and investment guidelines.

Ms. Weitzman graduated from the College of Business Honors Program at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in finance and a minor in Spanish.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was an Associate Vice President at Wind Point Partners, a middle-market leveraged buyout fund based in Chicago. At Wind Point, he was active in all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, capital raising, deal negotiation, and working with companies post-investment. Prior to Wind Point, he spent two years as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group at Citi in Chicago. He worked on transactions in numerous industries but spent the majority of his time in the automotive and metals and mining industries.

Mr. Freda earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where he earned the Bronze Tablet designation (top 3% of his class). He received his MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kevin R. Kresnicka is a Vice President and Private Equity Product Manager in the Private Equity Operations Group for 50 South Capital. Mr. Kresnicka is responsible for fund legal and marketing materials, sales support, fund administration activities, and client reporting.

Prior to joining 50 South Capital, he was a Vice President for Banc of America Capital, where he monitored existing private equity fund investments and evaluated, documented, and closed new fund investments. At the time of his departure from Banc of America, the company had interests in over 1,000 private equity funds representing over $5 billion of aggregate exposure. Prior to Banc of America, he was a part of William M. Mercer Investment Consulting, serving first as a Senior Analyst assisting institutional clients and then as a Research Consultant of investment managers. Before Mercer, he worked for Morningstar, serving first as a Mutual Fund Data Analyst and then as a Mutual Fund Editorial Analyst. Kevin started his career in the information center of the National Futures Association.

Mr. Kresnicka received a B.S. in foreign service and a certificate in asian studies from Georgetown University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
